years of experience with leading firms in auditing and business consulting. He is a co-founder of the consulting
concept Birzeit Consulting adopts and established Birzeit Consulting- USA, Dubai, Palestine, and Jordan. The
foundation of his work is an unshakable belief in the power of people—given the right skills and environment—
to create innovative solutions to even the most difficult problems.
He is an official representative of the Palestine Association of Certified Public Accountants (PACPA) in the
regional and international conferences and an accounting and auditing consultant for the PACPA as well.
Further, he is a technical consultant for several well-known auditing and business consulting firms.
Mr. Masoud's extensive experience covers the contracting, manufacturing, retailing, banking and trading
businesses and industries.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)-California,USA, Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA),USA and
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE),USA.
Mr. Masoud is well-known for his research and consulting practice in the fields of internal control, corporate

Dr. Raul Valverde, RPA, FAIA, CICA, AMA, PhD
Dr. Valverde has over eighteen years experience in business. His learner-focused attitude and best practice
teaching methods enabled students to gain a real-world understanding of theory and principles. He is
interested in Supply Chain Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Information Security,
Accounting Information Systems, Computer Systems Auditing and E-business.

Dr. Barihan A. Nabil, ACMA, PhD
Dr. Nabil has been in the accounting industry for over 20 years. She has a PhD in accounting and finance from
Loughborough University, Loughborough, UK and has been an associate of the Chartered Institute of
Management Accountants, London, U.K. since 1995.
Dr Nabil has participated in a number of accounting conferences in the UK, Jordan and Egypt on topics relating
to management accounting such as designing management accounting information systems (MAS),
organizational structure, and planning and control. She was also involved in teaching subjects related to Islamic
real estate financing through Islamic banks organized by Jordan Islamic bank.
She has undertaken extensive field research covering all Jordanian commercial banks in the areas of
management accounting information and information systems.
Dr Nabil is also a member of the editorial board of Accounting Education, an International Journal, U.K. since
2008 and has refereed a number of research papers. Accounting education being a subject dear to her heart,
she finds great enjoyment and challenge in working with learners in pulling down pre-conceived perceptions
learners face with accounting topics, and in introducing them to the enchanting world of accounting.

Robert Mckellar
Master of International Business, ESC-Grenoble, France
Master of Arts and Political Science, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver,
Canada
Mr. McKellar has been a consultant for eight years, with cross-expertise in strategic marketing, growth strategy
and international business risk. He led teams in the capacity of Engagement Manager, and have had oversight
of multiple projects. His work spans research and analysis, workshop design and facilitation, and training and
development.
Mr. McKellar worked with a variety of sectors, including IT and telecoms, infrastructure, retail, financial and
professional services, as well as the public sector.
His international experience is perhaps unique. He has lived, worked and studied in North America, North Africa,
the Middle East and Europe. He is adept at learning new cultures, and at adapting to very diverse environments.
In addition, both of his post-graduate degrees were oriented towards understanding the international context of
business. Mr. McKellar is currently the Birzeit Consulting senior consultant in the UK.

Dr. Muhannad A. Atmeh, JCPA, PhD
Dr. Atmeh graduated from the university of Newcastle, UK and has over 15 years of experience in the fields of
accounting and auditing. He has been an auditor in one of the big four auditing firms and currently serves as a
chairman of the accounting department in one of the prestigious Jordan universities. He is currently a Birzeit
Consulting senior associate consultant in Jordan where he is an expert in internal audit, accounting
information systems and internal control.

Mr.HISHAM A. KASSIM

Mr. Kassim has been practicing law in the United States for two years. Most of his work has been litigation
(defense and plaintiff work).He also has an experience in merger's and acquisitions and specifically
undertaking due diligence. In addition to his current legal practice in the USA, he services as a senior legal
advisor to Anis F. Kassim Law Firm, Amman-Jordan. Mr. Kassim is a senior associate consultant in our
forensic accounting and fraud practice in Jordan, Palestine and USA.

Muh’d AbulAdil, MA
Mr. AbulAdel graduated from University of Exeter, Exeter-UK in July 2003 holding a master of finance and
investment. He is and expert in the fields of financial investment and management, financial risk and financial
modeling. He has over 10 years of experience and served in the Central Bank of Jordan, Amman- Jordan as an
assistant economist / financial analyst.
Mr. AbulAdil is currently a Birzeit Consulting senior associate specialised in providing specialised advisory

Mazen Hasan Qweider, CFA, MSc
Mr. Qweider graduated from University of Surrey, Guildford. Surrey-UK in 2004 holding a master of science (MSc)
in financial services management. Further, he is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) since 2001 awarded by the
CFA Institute (Formerly, Association for Investment Management and Research).
Mr. Qweider expertise extends to include mega projects financial evaluation, assessment of investment
proposals, follow-up on projects (Post Acquisition), reporting on investment performance, due diligence, project
assessment & supervising the investment process.
Mr. Qweider is a Birzeit Consulting senior associate leading the financial and business valuation, investment
